Welcome! My name is Haelley and I'm a Registered Psychiatric Nurse. Since receiving my education at Brandon University, I have worked primarily in the community mental health and addictions field, with children, adolescents, and young adults in both rural Manitoba and Winnipeg. I'm passionate about supporting and empowering people to live their best lives! I have experience working with a diverse range of clients who have varying mental health concerns. This includes mental illnesses, co-occurring disorders, trauma, stress, and grief.
Outside of my therapy practice, I spend time with my cats (Cora & Clifford), reading, doing outdoor activities, and travelling, near and far!
I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychiatric Nursing, and am a Registered Psychiatric Nurse. Since beginning my career, I have completed additional training and certificates in:
- cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT)
- solution-focused therapy
- motivational interviewing
- substance use, addictions, and co-occuring disorders
- body oriented trauma counselling
- indigenous studies & history
In my practice I often utilize tools and skills from cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) and acceptance & commitment therapy (ACT)
self esteem, identity, and body image
addictions & substance use
self-harm
grief & loss
chronic stress & burnout
mental illnesses such as depression, anxiety, and ADHD

This is our introductory session to get to know each other, for us to discuss what areas you'd like to work on, and look at what challenges you're currently facing.
Please inquire with your insurance provider to see if they cover Registered Psychiatric Nurses.
